Chesapeake Bay Candle® was founded by Mei Xu and David Wang. They started out by handmaking candles in the basement of their home in Annapolis, Maryland. Mesmerised by the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay shoreline near their home, they decided to pay tribute to it by naming their brand Chesapeake Bay Candle.
